Let me take you on a jouney into the land of my phantasie (01.09.2022)

Let me take you on a journey. I started a new painting, that will be part of my online solo show “More than a fairy tale” @artwomenunited in October 2022… Like a journey to a new place every painting is a series of many steps and some twists and adventures on the way. This time I invite you to join my process. I have an idea what I want to paint and an expectation how it will turn out. But I have learned this much in traveling and in painting, that you can´t predict how it´s going to be in detail. You don´t know what the weather will be like, how your mood changes due to the unknown climate, who you are going to meet etc.…

Here you see the very first layer of paint. It took me about an hour and covers a very rough sketch of the composition I have in mind, to get acquainted with this canvas and painting.

I will show you some work in progress pics on my way through this painting and tell you what I am doing and thinking at this stage. To make it more fun, I am not telling you jet, which fairy tale it´s going to be, but as always you are invited to share a guess (and I LOVE to hear about it)!

Heute möchte ich mit euch zusammen eine kleine Reise in das Land meine Fantasie und meiner Bilder unternehmen. Herzlich willkommen in unserer kleinen Reisegesellschaft! Ich werde euch mitnehmen in das Land meiner Fantasie und die einzelnen Schritte dieses Bildes mit euch teilen. Das Bild wird wieder ein Teil meiner Ausstellung „Mehr als ein Märchen“, die im Oktober online bei Artwomenunited zu sehen sein wird. Um welches Märchen es sich handelt, verrate ich euch erst im Laufe des Prozesses. Ihr werdet erleben, wie sich das Bild verändert und wächst. Ich habe immer eine Idee, was ich malen werde, aber wie bei jeder Reise kann man am Anfang nicht genau sagen, was auf dem Weg alles passieren wird. Manchmal entdeckt man Dinge am Wegesrand, die in keinem Reiseführer stehen, aber viel spannender sind und den Weg verändern. Oder einem begegnen Menschen, die mit ihren Erfahrungen die Reise verändern. Aber keine Sorge, ich werde das Märchen, zu dem wir unterwegs sind nicht zwischenzeitlich ändern. Ihr könnt also sehr gerne wieder raten, um welches Märchen es sich handeln könnte. Ich freue mich auf eure Ideen und Gedanken!
